Electronic Hardware Engineer Internship
Summary
Alstom is hiring an electronic hardware engineering intern in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy, to support the redesign of a 24V-to-110V power supply 'Black Box' for metro applications. Day-to-day work involves hardware design following the V-cycle and railway standards, feasibility studies, BOM preparation, and prototyping using electronic CAD tools like Altium.

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated intern to support the Black Box re-design for Metro applications: 24 V to 110 V Power Supply. The ideal candidate has a foundational background in electronic design and electronic CAD Tools (es. Altium) .
Main activities:
- HW Design: V-cycle
- HW Design according to railway rules
- Feasibility study, BOM, final product production
- Prototype development
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (ongoing or completed)
Competencies & Skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic design
- Basic knowledge of Electronic CAD (Altium)
- Good oral communication skills
- Good written English communication skills
- Ability to work with other engineering teams
- Ability to work with remote collaborators
