About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven and creative Email Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize email marketing programs that drive engagement, customer retention, and revenue.

This role owns the email marketing lifecycle from campaign planning and audience segmentation through copywriting, deployment, testing, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate combines strong marketing instincts with technical platform expertise and a solid understanding of deliverability and list health.

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing both one-time campaigns and automated lifecycle flows, while continuously using data and experimentation to improve results.

Key Responsibilities

Email Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, newsletters, lifecycle campaigns, and automated sequences.
  • Manage campaigns from strategy through QA, deployment, and reporting.
  • Ensure campaigns align with broader marketing and business objectives.

Email Automation & Lifecycle

  • Build and optimize automated flows, including: Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, Browse Abandonment, Re-engagement / Win-back and Customer Lifecycle
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey through automation.

Segmentation & Personalization

  • Develop audience segments based on customer behavior, demographics, purchase history, engagement, and lifecycle stage.
  • Implement personalized messaging and dynamic content where appropriate.

Copywriting & Creative

  • Write compelling, conversion-focused email copy.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop engaging, mobile-responsive email templates.
  • Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency.

Deliverability & List Health

  • Monitor email deliverability and sender reputation.
  • Manage suppression lists and inactive subscribers.
  • Conduct regular list hygiene and identify potential deliverability risks.
  • Follow email marketing best practices.

Testing & Optimization

  • Conduct A/B tests across: Subject lines, CTAs, Content, Send times, Offers, Segments
  • Use test results to develop a structured optimization strategy.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on:Open Rate,Click-Through Rate, Conversion Rate, Revenue per Email, Unsubscribe Rate, Bounce Rate and Deliverability.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations.

Compliance

  • Ensure campaigns follow applicable email marketing regulations, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
