Job Title: Test Automation and Performance Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing. The candidate should possess strong expertise in functional, automation, and performance testing and be passionate about delivering high-quality software products. The role requires hands-on experience with modern testing tools, Agile development practices, and programming skills to design, execute, and maintain robust test solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, automation, and performance testing for web and enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Identify, track, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and release readiness across projects.
• Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and quality practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Functional Testing, Automation Testing, and Performance Testing.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as:
  • Selenium
  • Playwright
  • JMeter
• Good programming skills in:
  • Java
  • Python
    Typescript
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Test Planning
  • Test Case Design
  • Test Execution
  • Defect Management
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments is a plus.
