Embedded Software Engineer

Summary

Embedded Software Engineer acting as technical liaison for automotive OEM projects, writing and debugging C/C++ code, decomposing requirements per Automotive SPICE, and supporting customer design reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as the software technical liaison for overseas automotive OEM customer projects, responsible for technical communication, reviews, delivery, and issue troubleshooting:

  1. Responsible for requirements decomposition and modular design compliant with Automotive SPICE framework;

  2. Responsible for writing embedded code, debugging, performance optimization according to Automotive standards;

  3. Produce design documents, reports, and other deliverables required by A-SPICE processes;

  4. Analyze and resolve technical issues during the software development process, and collaborate with relevant departments for product debugging;

  5. Responsible for supporting customer reviews of software-related designs.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics, Automation, or related fields;

  2. 3+ years or more of experience in automotive electronic software development, proficient in driver development and debugging, familiar with TCP/IP protocol, proficient in software analysis and design based on SOC or FPGA;

  3. Proficient in C or C++ programming;

  4. Knowledge and skills in automotive cybersecurity are a plus;

  5. Fluent in both Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to collaborate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders

  6. Able to work in cross-cultural environments, and willing to travel when needed;

  7. Strong communication and coordination skills, team-oriented, and accountability for deliverables.
