Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize patients presenting with diverse emergency conditions
- Perform emergency procedures and interventions promptly and efficiently
- Coordinate care with nurses, specialists, and support staff
- Utilize diagnostic testing and clinical findings to guide treatment decisions
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records for all patients
- Participate in quality improvement programs and departmental meetings
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive measures
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completed residency training in emergency medicine
- Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine
- Valid and unrestricted medical license
- Proven experience working in emergency medicine preferred
- Exceptional clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
