As an ENERGY INDUSTRY ANALYST some of your typical work assignments include: Possessing a comprehensive understanding of trading practices, energy products, risk assessment, and relevant market tools together with a knowledge of current market issues to assess market behavior and compliance with Commission rules. Utilizing Power BI, R, Python, and SQL to prepare and analyze data primarily associated with electric and natural gas markets for the purpose of evaluating market participant conduct. Individually and collaboratively, performing quantitative and analytical work relating to electricity and natural gas markets, clearly communicating findings orally and in writing. Utilizing GitHub for version control and collaboration.
