Engineer I Mechanical Engineering IX
- Performs comprehensive technical and manufacturing feasibility evaluations of new products.
- Creates and modifies product models, manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) during new product introduction and updates them as required using CAD software.
- Prepares for and supports the introduction of new product developments, new manufacturing technologies, prototype production, and the execution and evaluation of tests.
- Optimizes product design with regard to manufacturing and technological capabilities and obtains customer approval where required.
- Implements changes based on customer, engineering, or production requirements with the objective of improving manufacturing efficiency.
- Trains new team members.
- Contributes to the achievement of KVP, 5S, Lean, DTC, and the company's strategic objectives.
- Maintains documentation supporting approved deviations from customer drawings.
- Acts as the main contact person for the assembly team in resolving technical issues.
- Uploads and maintains created data in PD Cloud.
