Engineer Mechanical
Summary
Designs and develops mechanical components and assemblies for telecom/electrical enclosures using Creo, CAD, and PLM tools while managing bills of materials and manufacturing processes.
Brief Job Description:
Primary Objective of the position: Work in coordination with the Manager / Dy Managers on projects, assignments such as, Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CAD, and CO to maintain desired quality levels set by the organisation.
Job Responsibility
- Work on Engineering Support, New Product Development and VA/VE, Quality Improvement
- Understanding customer requirements and delivering as per need
- Work on design and development of parts/assembly, & Provide design packages including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures
- Interact with other design team members to meet and optimise product design requirements.
- Accept additional roles and responsibilities as required
- Adherence to the project management process set by the organisation
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/B.E in mechanical Engineering with relevant exposure to a design environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in Creo in the sheet metal domain is a must
- Experience in Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CR/CO
- Working experience with any PLM tools, e.g. Oracle, Team Centre or Windchill, will be an advantage
- Knowledge of the sheet metal manufacturing process must
- Experience in telecom/electrical enclosure design is an added advantage
- Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organised
