alfanar construction is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company with a track record of consistent growth. We have emerged as a strong EPC contractor in the energy, infrastructure as well as engineering services sectors in Saudi Arabia.

With the support of special purpose service units, alfanar construction continuously strives to provide appropriate and timely solutions to clients, conforming to international standards.

Job purpose

Create, implement, and monitor project planning activities efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key accountability areas

Policies & procedures:
Ensure complying policies and guidelines to establish appropriate cost control and schedule practices for the company.

Project schedule:
Create and develop project schedules (baseline, revisions, recovery schedules) to ensure implementation in line with schedule best practices.
Develop project schedule, work breakdown structures, and weightages in accordance with alfanar planning manuals for follow-up and control.
Initiate and maintain updated detailed project schedules and forecasting reports based on trend analysis throughout the life cycle to ensure project health and highlight any potential risks.

Project budget:
Create and maintain updated detailed project cash flows and forecasting reports based on trend analysis throughout the life cycle of the project.
Create project cost structures and breakdowns (tender budget) on SAP to ensure the implementation of cost control procedures.
Reconcile and analyze project budget revisions closely with the finance department, increasingly in a consultancy role for verification of estimates (actual cost, plan percentage of completion, actual percentage of completion, etc.).

Project reports:
Analyze project schedule and cost reports and establish reporting frequency on project-to-project stakeholders based on the criticality of deliverables on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Academic qualification

Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or any relevant field.
