Engineering Director Mobile Web3

You will define and deliver the mobile engineering strategy, roadmap, and execution for Web3 products. You will lead and grow a global engineering organization, oversee secure and scalable mobile application architecture, and partner with product, design, security, blockchain, and infrastructure leaders. You will set engineering standards, guide technical decisions, improve performance and reliability, and represent mobile engineering in executive planning, hiring, and industry engagements.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for mobile engineering across Web3 products and platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a global team of mobile engineers.
• Develop new features for all-in-one iOS and Android applications.
• Oversee the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable, and performant mobile applications.
• Partner with Product, Design, Security, Blockchain, and Infrastructure leaders to deliver mobile solutions.
• Establish engineering standards, development processes, and best practices.
• Drive adoption of emerging Web3 technologies and mobile development advancements.
• Lead technical decision-making and architectural governance across mobile platforms.
• Champion mobile security, performance optimization, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the mobile engineering organization in executive discussions, strategic planning, hiring initiatives, and industry engagements.
• Use AI tools to build repeatable engineering workflows and bridge across stacks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading and scaling mobile engineering teams.
• Proven experience defining mobile technology strategy, building engineering organizations, and delivering large-scale consumer products.
• Deep expertise in iOS, Android, and/or cross-platform frameworks such as React Native and Flutter.
• Experience managing engineering managers and senior engineers.
• Experience using AI-driven engineering practices, knowledge management systems, and automation frameworks.
• Understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, security best practices, and engineering operational excellence.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills for executive-level decision-making.
• Interest in emerging technologies and Web3 mobile experiences.
