Job Responsibilities
- Prepare outline and detailed engineering drawings for new-build projects and retrofit orders according to customer, project, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop preliminary, single-line, termination, and arrangement drawings based on project scope and engineering specifications.
- Prepare and coordinate engineering and vendor documentation for submission to customers and relevant authorities or classification societies for review.
- Monitor engineering deliverables, schedules, and project progress, while identifying and highlighting potential risks or issues that may affect timely completion.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation, support work-progress reporting, and comply with applicable quality, safety, statutory, and environmental requirements.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD drafting software and the ability to produce accurate technical and engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and relevant technical documentation.
- Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage documentation and monitor multiple engineering deliverables.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and relevant authorities.
