Working schedule details
- Normal onshore office work
- Working hours: 8-10 hours/day
- Working days: 6 days/week (26 days/month)
- Leave rotation: 12 weeks on/2 weeks off
Key responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities for onshore power supply in major industrial projects, focusing on the oil & gas sector.
- Supervise and oversee contractors, subcontractors, service vendors, and personnel related to electrical systems delivery, installation, and operations.
- Ensure adherence to design standards, project specifications, industry codes, and safety criteria for electrical engineering.
- Guide the execution of electrical systems design, construction, and commissioning for large-scale projects including LNG facilities and utility systems.
- Manage and coordinate the design and implementation of HV/MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, power management, electrical controls for power sharing, power distribution, and large motors (40MW+).
- Provide oversight on high voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.
- Conduct or participate in reviews, technical evaluations, and troubleshooting of engineering issues.
- Interface with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated and compliant engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 8 years' experience in piping or electrical engineering, with a minimum of 4 years in the oil & gas industry.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a supervisory or oversight capacity, including managing contractors and vendors.
- Preferable experience working on major LNG projects.
- Demonstrated broad electrical equipment and systems expertise (HV/MV/LV), including relevant control, distribution, and operational knowledge.
- Familiarity with industry-specific manufacturing processes, engineering codes, and standards related to large onshore power projects.
