Engineering Lead - Product Infra team

We are looking for an Engineering Lead to establish and guide a new team, Product Infra. You will focus on improving the architecture of our products and improving infrastructure around it. You will ensure that our product customization, dependency management, deployment pipelines, and test infrastructures are streamlined. Your focus will be on creating reliable, scalable solutions that support a growing number of customers and use cases.

You will collaborate closely with DevOps and Quality Assurance teams while focusing on product-specific needs. This includes improving our product to support a growing number of platform customers. You will also drive improvements to our build architecture, dependency management, and test infrastructure.

We work in a hybrid model and expect team members to be onsite few days a week to support collaboration, onboarding, and team cohesion.
As an Engineering Lead, you will:

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the Product Infra team through regular 1:1s, focusing on wellbeing and professional growth
  • Drive improvements in:
    • Product customization and variation for our desktop products
    • Product deployment - improve product distribution, software update mechanism
    • Desktop application build system help to improve build speed, modularity and reliability together with DevOps
    • Dependency management - maintain uptodate and wellorganized dependencies, and enable Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) reporting
    • Test infrastructure - help to improve our custom test infrastructure for the 3D simulation platform together with QA
  • Collaborate with other teams on cross-functional dependencies
  • Facilitate team Scrum activities and maintain momentum toward shared goals
  • Provide technical and quality oversight, including design reviews and testing strategies
  • Champion continuous improvement in development process, tooling, and product quality

While the Engineering Lead role focuses on leading and supporting the team, we value strong technical involvement. You will stay close to the code through architectural design, reviews, and selected hands-on contributions, especially in complex or high-impact areas.


TECH STACK
  • Languages: C++, C++/CLI, C#, WPF, Python
  • Build & Deployment: AzureDevOps Pipelines, nuget and vcpkg, Advanced Installer
  • Tools: Visual Studio, GIT, Azure DevOps, GitHub Copilot
  • Experience leading a software development team (Team lead/Scrum master)
  • Hands-on experience with C# and C++
  • Strong understanding of build and dependency management
  • Experience on modernizing legacy monolithic software projects
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and people skills
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum processes and the ability to effectively navigate and work in an agile environment.
  • Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve coding efficiency, code quality, and developer productivity.
  • Experience with robotics, simulation systems, or data analysis is highly beneficial
  • Proficient English communication skills (spoken and written)
