- Shaping the technical vision for AI at Wise including architecture, evaluation, and integration of latest research into production
- Partnering closely with embedded Data Science, PM, Analyst and Prompt Engineering functions
- Staying close to the latest technology with hands-on work on system design and architecture
- Being a thought leader on AI engineering at Wise
- Leading engineering teams for 2+ years including senior engineers
- Hands-on technical experience in OOP languages such as Java
- Experience with modern technology stacks including REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of LLM engineering including RAG architectures, vector databases and embeddings, prompt/context engineering, orchestration patterns, tool use, evaluation methods and guardrails/safety approaches
- Passion for AI and following the AI space
- Excellent collaboration skills across functions and teams
- Experience with TypeScript
- Deeper AI fundamentals such as transformer architectures and fine tuning
- Salary range of 2.000,000 - 2,550,000 HUF monthly
- RSUs (Restricted Stock Units)
