■DescriptionWe are looking for a Power System Engineer to work on the electrical design, system integration, and validation of our Battery Energy Storage Systems, known as BESS.
This role covers power system design, component selection, supplier evaluation, and testing for BESS products, including batteries, PCS / converters, transformers, cables, busbars, switchgear, and monitoring/protection systems.
The ideal candidate has experience in power system engineering and can work across both system-level electrical design and practical validation in a high-voltage environment.
■Job Scope
- Develop electrical concepts, system requirements, and technical specifications for BESS products.
- Create single-line diagrams and perform power system studies such as load flow, voltage drop, short-circuit, and protection coordination analysis.
- Conduct battery sizing, transformer sizing, cable sizing, busbar sizing, and MV switchgear selection.
- Evaluate and integrate key electrical components such as PCS, converters, transformers, switchgear, sensors, and protection devices.
- Support high-voltage testing, electrical validation, troubleshooting, and supplier technical communication.

■About Engineering and Research Division
Our Engineering and Research Division consists of mainly three teams that handle end-to-end development of Hardware and software systems for Energy storage & power transfer solutions and services. Currently, approximately 50 specialists are engaged in the mission of advancing energy storage technologies and solutions.
The Division is organized into the following teams:
- Series Development: Responsible for prototyping, testing & validation , requirements engineering , series handover of new products including product support and commissioning.
- Advanced Engineering: Responsible for development and experimentation into emerging technologies to sustain our current and future roadmap of energy solutions with focus on a areas viz. embedded development, PCB design, model based development, battery management, power conversion, digital twins, edge computing, cloud solutions ,AI/ML based dispatch optimization, generation and forecasts.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manages product & project life cycles by tracking across quality gates through development, sourcing, value engineering leading up to manufacturing and after sales activities through cross functional coordination and data intensive product life cycle assessment

- Experience with BESS, PCS, converters, inverters, battery systems, solar power, wind power, or grid-connected systems.- Knowledge of high-voltage / low-voltage design, cables, busbars, transformers, switchgear, grounding, and protection devices.
- Experience with BMS / BMU circuits, monitoring functions, protection logic, or board-level electrical design.
- Experience with high-voltage testing, insulation testing, EMC optimization, or safety validation.
- Business-level English communication skills or willingness to work in an English-speaking environment.

・Flexible hour system (core time 11:00-15:00, 60-minute break)

・Vacations: Paid holidays 12 days in the first year (5 days granted at the time of joining the company, remaining 7 days granted after 6 months)
