Technical Delivery

  • Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and reports in accordance with ME standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of deliverables that meet internal and client quality expectations.
  • Support technical governance by adhering to approved processes and design protocols.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leads to resolve design challenges.
  • Assist Senior Engineers with technical input and coordination across disciplines.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with ME-based teams to ensure alignment of design outputs and project goals.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow WSP’s Business Management System and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards.
  • Support audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Team & Development

  • Work within a team of engineers and technicians, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.

Support junior staff and share technical knowledge across the team

Education & Accreditation

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status (e.g., ICE, CIHT) is preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in highway design, preferably within the ME region.
  • Familiarity with ME design standards and project delivery practices.
  • Experience in using relevant design software and tools.
  • Proficiency in using Civil3D and ACC

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to the ME region for short-term project support (2–3 months intervals).
