Role Description

We are looking for a professional linguist to support a new project requiring both translation and on-site simultaneous interpretation in the energy sector. The selected candidate will handle specialized content related to renewable energy, power banks, and large-scale energy storage solutions for heavy vehicles.

Project Details

Translation (TEP):

• Language Pair: English Japanese

• Field: Energy sector (focus on power banks, renewable energy, and energy storage for large trucks)

• Task: Translation, Editing, and Proofreading (TEP) of client-provided content

On-site Interpretation (Simultaneous):

• Language Pair: English Japanese

• Service Type: On-site simultaneous interpretation

• Location: Japan

• Date: Scheduled for next year (exact date TBC)

• Subject Matter: Energy sector, renewable energy, power banks, large-scale energy storage

Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate, fluent, and culturally appropriate translations in the field of energy.

• Provide professional simultaneous interpretation during live sessions in Japan.

• Ensure correct use of technical terminology related to renewable energy and power storage.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout all assignments.

Qualifications:

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese with excellent command of English.

• Proven experience in both translation (TEP) and simultaneous interpretation.

• Strong knowledge of renewable energy and power storage terminology.

• Ability to handle highly technical content accurately.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
