Enterprise Account Manager - Data Management Solutions
Description
Win, grow, and keep enterprise and government customers while helping them get more value from their data.
We are looking for a strategic, field-driven Enterprise Account Manager to lead customer acquisition, manage enterprise accounts, and drive adoption of our data management solutions. You will combine consultative solution selling, field-based lead generation, and after-sales account management, taking customers from first conversation through onboarding, adoption, renewal, and growth.
What you'll do
● Generate new business through corporate outreach, field visits, trade shows, networking, referrals, and marketing blitzes.
● Identify and qualify enterprise prospects that match our target market, and visit corporate offices and business parks to build relationships.
● Arrange discovery meetings, solution briefings, and demos with key decision-makers.
● Lead solution selling by understanding each client's challenges, data environment, and transformation goals.
● Engage senior stakeholders across IT, Data, Architecture, Compliance, and Procurement, and deliver tailored presentations on data integration, governance, Master Data Management, data quality, and cloud modernization.
● Manage the full acquisition cycle: discovery, solution fit, proposal, pricing alignment, negotiation, and procurement requirements.
● Be the primary post-sales contact for enterprise and government clients, working with Professional Services and Support teams on onboarding and implementation.
● Track customer adoption, usage, ROI, and satisfaction, and run regular business reviews with decision-makers.
● Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and protect renewals through proactive relationship and issue management.
● Support marketing blitzes, events, and on-ground brand awareness campaigns, and share field insights to sharpen positioning.
● Work with Technical Support and Product teams to resolve issues quickly, and bring customer feedback back to the business.
● Keep pipeline, activity, and account data accurate in the CRM, prepare account plans and forecasts, and review pipeline weekly with the Enterprise Sales Manager.
Position requirements
● Proven experience in solution selling, enterprise or government account management, or field sales within SaaS, PaaS, data management, or enterprise software.
● A strong record in customer acquisition and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
● Experience working in cloud-based environments, with an understanding of cloud data architecture.
● Proficiency with CRM platforms for pipeline and account management.
● Solid understanding of data management concepts: data integration, data governance, MDM, and data quality.
● Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
● Willingness to travel and to work a flexible schedule, including being on call for clients.
● Strategic thinking, problem-solving, resilience, and adaptability in an agile, dynamic team.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
● 3–7+ years of experience in solution selling, enterprise or government account management, or field sales.
Preferred:
● Experience handling processes and compliance documentation.
● Background in selling complex technology solutions to enterprise or public-sector customers.
● Field or B2B selling experience targeting corporate environments.
Who we're looking for
You are a hands-on, consultative seller who is as comfortable walking into a corporate office or business park as you are presenting to a CIO or a procurement committee. You understand data management and cloud topics well enough to be a trusted advisor, and you see the sale as the start of the relationship: you stay close to your customers through onboarding, reviews, and renewals. You are resilient, adaptable, and organized, you keep your pipeline and CRM clean, and you are ready to travel and respond when clients need you.
