Enterprise Application Integration Engineer

ALPITRONIC in Italy seeks an experienced IT integration engineer to design and implement configurations across ERP, CRM, MES, and related platforms. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and IT teams, develop interfaces via REST/SOAP, and ensure reliable data exchange.

You will also support UAT, diagnose incidents, manage releases, and create technical docs. Fluent English, German or Italian, plus knowledge of AI-assisted tools and low-code platforms is a plus.

Design, implement, and document configurations, customizations, and scripting solutions within ERP, CRM, BI, ECM, and MES platforms in collaboration with Business Analysts, IT Architects, and Application Owners Develop and maintain integration interfaces and automated workflows between business applications; use REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and AI-assisted tools to ensure reliable data exchange and end-to-end process continuity Provide technical support and coordination for User Acceptance Testing (UAT): manage test environments, resolve technical defects, and validate go-live readiness Analyze, diagnose, and resolve application incidents and performance issues; conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective measures Manage application lifecycle activities including release planning, version upgrades, patch management, and regression testing; coordinate with software vendors and IT teams Create and maintain technical documentation (architecture overviews, interface specifications, configuration guides, runbooks) in line with internal and external standards Proactive evaluation and implementation of AI-assisted tools and automation to optimize application performance and integration workflows Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or Software Engineering. Experience in developing, configuring, and integrating enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, MES), preferably in an industrial environment. Proficiency in API development (REST/SOAP) and scripting; strong SQL skills. Deep understanding of IT system architectures, data models, and application integration patterns; hands-on experience with middleware and integration technologies. Familiarity with version control (Git) and DevOps/deployment procedures for application configuration. Experience in agile/hybrid project environments (Scrum, Kanban); tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of AI-assisted development and automation tools as an advantage; experience with low-code/no-code platforms. Excellent knowledge of English, German and/or Italian.
