The Senior Enterprise Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end IT automation solutions that support employee lifecycle processes and enterprise service operations.
This role focuses on reducing manual effort, improving data consistency, enforcing security standards, and enabling Day-1 productivity through scalable and reliable automation across Microsoft and Atlassian platforms.

Your role:

  • Workflow Orchestration: Design and automate Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes, integrating HR systems with Microsoft Entra ID.

  • Service Desk Automation: Build and maintain advanced automation rules in Jira Service Management (JSM) for request intake, approvals, and ticket routing.

  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Automate group memberships, license assignments, and application provisioning using Entra ID Governance and Power Automate.

  • Endpoint Management: Develop scripts and automate device configuration profiles and application deployments through Microsoft Intune.

  • API & System Integrations: Create integrations between the Atlassian ecosystem, Microsoft 365, and third-party SaaS platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify manual and repetitive IT tasks and replace them with automated, scalable solutions to reduce operational toil.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with platform, IT, and digital teams to evolve automation patterns into reusable service orchestration capabilities.

Requirements:

Microsoft Ecosystem

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365 administration, and Microsoft Intune.

Atlassian Ecosystem

  • Advanced knowledge of Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Automation for Jira.

Scripting & Development

  • Proficiency in PowerShell (mandatory).

  • Experience with Python and/or Microsoft Graph API is a strong advantage.

Integration & Low-Code Platforms

  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.

  • Strong command of Power Automate and Logic Apps.

Systems Thinking

  • Ability to understand how changes in HR systems impact identity, access, devices, and end-user experience.

Security Mindset

  • Solid understanding of least-privilege principles and secure automation design.

Problem Solving

  • Analytical approach focused on root-cause analysis and long-term automated solutions.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Ability to translate complex technical workflows into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders such as HR and Finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Atlassian Certified Professional – Jira Service Management).

  • Experience working in a cloud-first, SaaS-driven environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
