The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise / Business Architect to support a major engagement within a complex Federal Government environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will translate business strategy into practical architecture models, capability plans and delivery roadmaps. You will help identify opportunities to improve business performance across technology, data, operating models, organisational design and business processes.
This is a Canberra-based contract position requiring an active NV1 security clearance. Candidates must already be located in Canberra.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architecture models and plans that support the execution of business strategy
Identify opportunities to improve organisational capability and business performance
Contribute to the development and review of systems capability strategies
Create and maintain strategic roadmaps for capability and technology improvements
Translate strategic objectives into practical and achievable initiatives
Define business requirements and design effective business processes
Recommend improvements across technology, information, data, organisational structures, roles, procedures and equipment
Facilitate workshops and engage with senior business and technical stakeholders
Ensure architecture recommendations align with broader enterprise objectives
Skills and Experience
To be successful, you will bring:
Demonstrated Level 5 experience across enterprise and/or business architecture
Strong experience translating business strategy into architecture models, roadmaps and capability plans
Proven business process analysis and improvement experience
Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and requirements elicitation skills
The ability to operate effectively across business, technology and delivery teams
Experience working within complex Federal Government or large enterprise environments
Strong written communication and architecture documentation skills
A current NV1 security clearance
Current Canberra residency
Highly Regarded
NV2 security clearance
Experience applying AI or machine learning within an enterprise environment
Knowledge of government architecture, capability planning or transformation frameworks
Experience supporting complex technology-enabled business transformation programs
