Enterprise Merchandising Operations Assistant Manager

The Enterprise Merchandising Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and management of product information across the 1-800-Flowers.com family of brands. This role ensures product data is accurate and complete so products can be manufactured, marketed, and sold to customers. The position works cross-functionally with Product Development, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Vendor Relations, and other business partners to support daily operations, new product launches, and ongoing product maintenance.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain product information across enterprise systems to support daily business operations.
- Participate in the product development process to understand product requirements and ensure accurate product setup.
- Transfer product information from centralized databases into enterprise systems, including SAP and Oracle.
- Execute and verify product updates, including retail pricing, product names, ship dates, shipping methods, Material Masters, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Partner with Inventory Planning to process vendor, product, and component shutoffs, order moves, and rejected orders.
- Work with Vendor Relations to process vendor cutoff time adjustments and shutoff requests.
- Review, maintain, and update Material Master records, including dimensional information within SAP.
- Communicate product, inventory, pricing, and system changes to appropriate business partners.
- Balance daily operational responsibilities with time-sensitive requests, including product code creation, vendor assignments, and product launches.
- Coordinate and validate product data across multiple systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform product data maintenance within Atlas, Bloomlink, Oracle, Centric PLM, SAP, and other business systems.
- Review work for accuracy and completeness while meeting established deadlines.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to members of the Merchandising Operations team.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
