Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Program Manager to oversee and coordinate our portfolio of technology and business improvement initiatives.
The purpose of the Enterprise Program Manager role is to steward the company’s portfolio of initiatives under our solution-development framework, Profectus Forge. The role will balance short-term operational efficiency with our longer-term objective of building a unified data and analytics platform.
You will be responsible for managing initiative intake, prioritisation, governance, resourcing, timelines and executive reporting, while ensuring that programs meet our information security and ISO 27001 obligations.
You will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with our Executive, Technology and Operational teams, providing clear oversight of programs and ensuring that initiatives are aligned with our strategic priorities, available resources and technology roadmap.
Some of the key duties of this role include:
Maintaining a single, accurate and up-to-date portfolio of initiatives through Profectus Forge
Facilitating prioritisation discussions and developing an achievable portfolio roadmap
Overseeing multiple technology, data and operational-efficiency initiatives simultaneously
Establishing project governance, success measures, timelines, resource plans and reporting requirements
Monitoring project progress, budgets, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes
Providing regular program dashboards and updates to the Executive Team and key stakeholders
Ensuring risks, barriers and scope changes are identified, documented and escalated promptly
Working with Technology and Operational teams to define requirements and expected benefits
Supporting the delivery of the company’s annual technology roadmap
Coordinating ISO 27001 activities, including internal audits, corrective actions, security initiatives and certification requirements
Ensuring security-related initiatives have clear owners, timelines and delivery plans
Reviewing and continuously improving the Profectus Forge framework and supporting documentation
Facilitating lessons-learned sessions and incorporating improvements into future delivery
Using AI-enabled tools to support planning, documentation, analysis, status reporting and other program-management activities
Coaching project managers and subject matter experts to deliver agreed outcomes
Maintaining clear, concise and professional communication across all stakeholder groups
You will have:
The ideal candidate will have at least eight years’ experience in program or portfolio management within a technology-led organisation. Experience working in finance, audit, compliance or another regulated industry would be beneficial.
You will have demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stream initiatives that combine software development, data platforms and operational-efficiency projects. You will be comfortable balancing competing priorities, assessing business benefits, managing delivery risks and allocating resources across a portfolio of work.
Experience supporting ISO 27001 or a similar information security management system will be important, including involvement in internal audits, corrective actions and certification activities.
You will have a strong interest in AI-enabled delivery and be confident using, or learning to use, AI assistants and agent-based tools to improve project planning, documentation, reporting and analysis. You will view AI as part of the standard delivery toolkit and be willing to reshape processes around new capabilities rather than simply adding them to existing ways of working.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong program, portfolio and project governance experience
Proven ability to prioritise initiatives based on benefit, risk, strategic alignment and available capacity
Experience developing and managing technology roadmaps
Excellent stakeholder-management and influencing skills
The ability to communicate effectively with executives, engineers, business users, clients and external partners
Strong financial, risk-management and cybersecurity awareness
A data-driven approach to monitoring project performance and delivery outcomes
Experience introducing modern delivery frameworks, automation or improved project-management processes
Strong leadership skills and the ability to achieve outcomes within a matrix environment
The ability to coach and support project managers and subject matter experts
Excellent written, verbal, documentation and presentation skills
The ability to work with minimal direction while appropriately escalating significant risks or barriers
A tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, engineering, business or a related field—or equivalent hands-on delivery experience—is required.
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or SAFe Lean Portfolio Management would be well regarded but are not essential. Demonstrated delivery outcomes, practical experience and adaptability will carry greater weight than formal credentials.
