Requirements:- Hands-on coding experience gained through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and web or backend fundamentals.
- Ability to learn rapidly and contribute effectively in an Agile team.
- Bachelors degree.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement in Washington, D.C. or Virginia.
- Ability to pass a coding challenge, background screening, and drug screening.
- Projects demonstrating AI-assisted development, such as AI-generated tests or AI-supported refactoring, are preferred.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, databases, or CI/CD is preferred.
- Interest in security, privacy, and handling sensitive information is preferred.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted DevSecOps practices, using large language models and automation tools to speed up secure containerization of legacy applications while preserving compliance.
- Build and maintain AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines that can generate security policies, container settings, and infrastructure-as-code templates based on application needs and best practices.
- Use AI coding assistants for development, refactoring, and documentation in line with team standards.
- Create unit and integration tests, improve coverage, and help reduce defects.
- Accelerate pull requests with AI-assisted reviews, summaries, and risk notes.
- Search logs and documentation with AI to diagnose issues and remove blockers.
- Collaborate with product, design, security, and compliance teams to deliver production-ready increments.
- Develop in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices or APIs across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and delivery.
- Join technical solutioning and design discussions.
- Perform proofs of concept and deliver comprehensive solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
- Add new features while improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability to meet client needs.
