Coordinate daily Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs at a luxury hotel, conduct safety inspections, train staff, and ensure compliance with regulations.
POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate and support the implementation of the hotel's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. Conduct routine safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, maintain EHS documentation and records, and assist with incident reporting and investigations. Coordinate safety training, emergency preparedness activities, fire life safety programs, and environmental initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations. Monitor corrective actions and work closely with all departments to reduce risks and promote a strong safety culture throughout the property.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; communicate clearly and professionally with employees, contractors, and government authorities when required. Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions, and equipment concerns to management. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
