Environmental Control Officer

Job Description:

• Performance duties as an Environmental Control Officer for construction site.
• Conduct regular inspection to ensure compliance with environmental health and hygiene standards.
• Liaise with consultant and relevant authorities such as NEA, MOM & PUB.
• Monitor housekeeping, waste management, pest control, sanitation practices.
• Manage and control usage of Hazardous substance.
• Organise and conduct environmental health awareness and training for the workforce.
• Maintain records of inspections and other compliance documents, compiling data for monthly submission by management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Must be a registered ECO with NEA.
• Willing to work in Tuas Area.
• Minimum 2-3years of relevant working experience in a construction firm.
• Good knowledge and familiar with the local requirements & regulations.
• Strong observation, problem solving and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in conducting inspections, audits and staff training.
