ETL Data Engineer
Summary
Zone IT Solutions is hiring an ETL Data Engineer in Bangalore to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and cloud data infrastructure. The core stack is Teradata or Informatica with SQL, plus Python, AWS, Terraform, Databricks/Snowflake, BTEQ, and shell scripting with CI/CD practices.
We are looking for an experienced ETL Data Engineer with strong expertise in Teradata or Informatica and SQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions.
Key Skills
- Strong experience in Teradata + SQL OR Informatica + SQL
- Data Engineering and ETL/ELT
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- AWS and Terraform
- Databricks / Snowflake
- BTEQ and Shell Scripting
- SQL development and performance tuning
- CI/CD and cloud infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, Shell Scripting, BTEQ, and SQL.
- Work with Teradata or Informatica, along with Databricks, Snowflake, and other data platforms.
- Develop and optimize SQL across Teradata, Oracle, and relational databases.
- Build reliable data transformation, ingestion, and integration solutions.
- Implement CI/CD practices to improve deployment consistency, code quality, and delivery.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure and data pipeline components using AWS and Terraform.
- Leverage modern AI productivity tools such as Copilot and Cursor where applicable.
