Etl Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ETL Tester with strong experience in Databricks, SQL, and Data Warehouse testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and performing end-to-end testing of ETL processes across large-scale data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate ETL data transformations, mappings, and data migration processes.
• Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
• Execute data quality, functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data verification and validation.
• Test Databricks-based data pipelines and workflows.
• Validate data stored in cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare test execution reports and provide testing insights to project teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data validation and analysis.
• Experience in source-to-target testing and data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
• Experience in creating test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
