ETL Data Tester – ETL Testing, Data Warehouse, SQL, UNIX/Linux, Informatica

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, data pipelines, and Data Warehouse solutions

• Validate source-to-target data mappings, data transformations, and business rules

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for data validation

• Perform data reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, and integrity checks across systems

• Write complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and defect investigation

• Utilize UNIX/Linux commands for file validation, batch job monitoring, and troubleshooting

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects

• Support defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test reporting activities

• Exposure to Informatica workflows, mappings, and ETL jobs is preferred

• Experience with Python automation for test automation, data validation, and reporting will be considered a strong advantage
