The Event Sales and Planning Manager sells and services catering events and meeting spaces for events only groups. This position oversees all event-only bookings from contract execution through planning and onsite event execution. The role is responsible for upselling, detailing, and servicing groups, function space, food and beverage, menu planning, room-block management and pickup, agenda development, onsite meeting services, hospitality amenities, VIP requests, and accurate and timely billing.

The Event Sales and Planning Manager also provides planning-only support for all entertainment rooms only bookings. Additional responsibilities include reviewing contracts and payments, facilitating payment collection, and coordinating communication before, during, and after each event to ensure a high level of service. This manager promotes guest satisfaction through detailed and timely communication with Hotel Operations, hosts hotel tours, maintains strong client relationships, and participates in or leads internal event meetings and client pre-convention meetings.

This is a sales incentive plan eligible position.

The Salary Range for this position is $79,700 - $90,000
