well-established Australian-owned and operated business that possesses a large
inventory of small to large-sized access equipment and machines for the
construction and maintenance industries. With over 25 years in the hire
industry, they are proud to provide high-quality elevated work platforms
(EWPs), scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts across Brisbane and beyond.
As part of their
exciting growth, they are expanding their maintenance division and have recently
moved into a brand-new purpose-built complex based in Acacia Ridge, featuring a
9-bay maintenance workshop and 4-bay painting and sandblasting facilities. They
have built a reputation for providing high-quality customer service, while
providing tailored solutions for their dependable equipment.
They are now seeking
a highly motivated and experience EWP Technician to take ownership of this part
of the business and play a key role in the future of the business.
The Position…
As an EWP Technician, your responsibilities will include
(but are not limited to):
- Ensuring smooth, effective day-to-day operation
of the maintenance division
- Responding quickly to customer breakdowns and
repair requests
- Diagnosing, repairing and servicing elevated
work platforms and related machinery
- Liaising with external contractors for specialised
repairs
- Ensuring all equipment meets safety and
compliance guidelines
- Building strong, positive relationships with
clients, suppliers, and fellow team members
The Ideal
Candidate…
- Previous experience with thorough knowledge of access equipment and many years of field work
experience.
- Qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Automotive Mechanics or a related trade.
- Hands-on & proactive – a self-starter who
thrives on problem-solving.
- Team player – able to work well with others,
while confident to work autonomously.
- Organised & efficient – with a track record
of meeting deadlines and achieving results.
- Customer-focussed – with strong communication
& relationship building skills.
