Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the compliance team as an Executive - Compliance, Health & Safety. This role will enable you to ensure adherence to national, international health and safety and compliance standards, implementing continuous improvements in this regard whilst fulfilling customer compliance
requirements and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health and Safety and Compliance Standards within the factory by effectively educating employees, conducting awareness programmes, displaying safety communication materials, and providing safety briefings to visitors to promote Occupational Health and Safety practices.
- Ensure that all equipment within the factory compound is in conformance with the safety standards and general maintenance is done periodically.
- Implement and sustain projects as a member of the Social Compliance project team.
- Ensure the maintenance of all social compliance, safety, health and environment related documentation & filing is in order.
- Liaise with relevant institutions to monitor the changes & amendments in laws, education relevant personnel about such changes.
Implement, monitor and sustain world-class standards, practices pertaining to Industrial Safety in all areas such as person. machinery and social, in co-ordination with the relevant departments thereby, maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resource management, occupational health and safety & human rights.
- 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication Skills
