Executive Sales Manager
- Drive profitable sales growth across strategic accounts, with a focus on overall Pressure Pumping revenue, base margin performance, and strategic account growth.
- Position NOV as a technology and solutions leader by identifying, developing, and successfully selling new product and packaged solutions.
- Establish ISE early in the customer decision-making process through proactive client engagement and opportunity development, with a particular focus on CWP products and solutions.
- Expand solution-selling opportunities by collaborating across NOV business groups, including Digital and AM, to develop integrated customer solutions.
- Strengthen relationships with strategic customers, industry influencers, key decision-makers, partners, and the NOV internal business development community.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, sales plans, marketing initiatives, and forecasts that support business growth.
- Key performance metrics may include Strategic Account Sales Growth, Pressure Pumping Revenue, Base Margin Performance, Solution Selling Wins, and Business Group Packaged Sales.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, decision-makers, strategic partners, and strategic accounts as defined by the reporting structure.
- Develop comprehensive relationships across customer organizations, including executives (CEO, CFO, COO, CTO), engineering, asset management, procurement, supply chain, and district operations.
- Provide customers with support, information, and guidance while researching and recommending new opportunities, products, and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships throughout NOV's internal business development community.
- Collaborate with NOV business groups to understand customer needs, packaging opportunities, and solution-selling strategies for strategic accounts.
- Identify product improvements and new product opportunities by staying current on industry trends, market activity, customer requirements, and competitors.
- Present and sell new product solutions that reinforce NOV's position as a technology leader.
- Serve as a key representative of ISE, with a primary focus on CWP and a strong working knowledge of the full CWP product portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans, account strategies, and forecasts for key accounts.
- Position ISE at the beginning of potential opportunities by gathering customer feedback and implementing early client engagement strategies.
- Deliver executive-level and, when needed, field-level presentations highlighting ISE solutions, with specific emphasis on CWP products.
- Utilize resources and capabilities across NOV to increase sales, develop integrated solutions, and improve win rates.
- Collaborate closely with Digital and AM teams to jointly develop and execute business strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM activity, including weekly updates and monthly/quarterly reporting as required by management.
- Utilize CRM to communicate regional opportunities and relevant customer activity to the field sales organization.
- Provide Field Sales with monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews covering regional performance, opportunities, and goals.
- Assess and communicate the needs of the field sales team and help identify resources required to support growth.
- Prepare periodic sales reports outlining sales volume, potential opportunities, forecasts, and areas for customer-base expansion.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, participation in relevant industry associations and committees, and development of industry networks.
- Analyze and control expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary requirements.
- Comply with applicable state and federal laws, NOV's ISO Quality Program and procedures, company policies, and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience in strategic account management, business development, technical sales, or solution selling within the energy or industrial sector.
- Proven ability to build relationships with executive, technical, operational, and procurement stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling, account strategy, forecasting, and business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical products and solutions to both executive and field-level audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple business groups and functions.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities, customer activity, and sales forecasts.
- Knowledge of CWP products, Pressure Pumping applications, and the ISE portfolio is preferred.
