Experienced Project Manager
Mer Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Data Center projects to lead complex, large-scale programs in Israel and internationally. This role focuses on delivering mission-critical infrastructure solutions, combining advanced technologies across smart cities, homeland security, cyber, intelligence, and communications.
Lead end-to-end Data Center and critical infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
Own full financial responsibility (P&L), including cost control, revenue recognition, and profitability targets.
Prepare and manage technical specifications, execution plans, and bills of quantities (BOQ).
Oversee procurement processes: supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, purchase orders, and vendor management.
Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and performance KPIs.
Collaborate closely with external clients and stakeholders, including government and municipal bodies, to define requirements and provide technical leadership.
Lead technical discussions, presentations, and progress reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor project execution and continuously update plans based on actual performance and risk assessment.
Prepare and manage key project documents such as SOW, SRR, PDR, CDR, KOM.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience managing Data Center projects (design, build, or upgrade of critical facilities – mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience delivering global/complex infrastructure projects – mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Data Center environments, including electrical systems, cooling, communications, and IT infrastructure integration.
- Experience working with government and/or municipal clients.
- Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Lean, etc.).
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, cost control, and profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
- High proficiency in English (working with international stakeholders).
- Experience with tools such as MS Project, Excel, Gantt, and ERP systems (Priority – advantage).
- Proven experience in preparing execution specifications and BOQs.
- Relevant academic degree (Engineering / Industrial Engineering & Management / Business / Technological field) – mandatory.
- PMP certification – advantage.
