About the Role
Careers Verified is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and sell banking products like loans, accounts, and deposits a target-driven role requiring deep knowledge of financial services and strong networking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Find prospective clients through market visits, networking, and lead generation
- Explain banking products and cross-sell loans, savings, and investments
- Meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Maintain client communication, handle objections, and ensure satisfaction
- Assist clients with account opening while following bank policies and regulations
- Monitor competitor activities and report market trends to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in a related field
- 1–3 years' experience in sales, business development, or financial services
- Previous banking sales experience is a major advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital sales tools
- High level of integrity, independence, and comfort in a performance-driven environment
