Overview
We are seeking an Expert Data Engineer with robust technical skills and hands-on expertise in various data management practices. The ideal candidate will excel in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, with a proven record of developing and maintaining ETL solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Handle SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring.
Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems.
Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL scripts.
Implement data validation and quality checks within ETL processes.
Manage change and deployment activities.
Perform database maintenance activities, including index management and performance tuning.
Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring.
Experience in developing and maintaining ETL packages using SSIS.
Knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of the Snowflake cloud-based data platform.
Nice to Have
Experience with generative AI and machine learning.
Other Details
This position is based in Poland, specifically in Gdańsk. Proficiency in English is required.
