Bridgette Bar is a chef-driven bar in the new Spring Creek community in Canmore, AB. Snack, indulge, bend an elbow & realize your day’s full potential when you spend time at Bridgette Bar; a space where design, craft and culture intersect. This is a bar – and one that happens to serve great food. Our drink list is a creative catalogue of crushable cocktails, high-octane originals, craft beers, and a wine list that all beverage enthusiasts will appreciate. For our food, Chef JP Pedhirney brings new twists on old favourites, making for a playful menu that's prepared on a savoury wood-burning grill. All set in a historic, mid-century inspired setting to keep things interesting.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Working on the line to organize and coordinate dishes, while communicating with the kitchen and servers to ensure food is delivered accurately and efficiently.
- Checking dishes for accuracy, presentation and completeness before they leave the kitchen.
- Running food to the appropriate tables when required.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the menu and being able to describe dishes to guests.
- Keeping the pass and surrounding areas clean, organized and stocked.
- Supporting servers and other Front of House team members throughout service.
- Assisting with table maintenance and general restaurant upkeep.
- Contributing to a positive, welcoming and efficient guest experience.
- Be ready and willing to provide support as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the FOH Manager.
- Execute any other tasks required.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 1 years’ experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong English communication skills with ability to establish and develop relationships with team members, partners, and customers.
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Basic math skills, can handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Valid Alberta ProServe certification obtained within 30 days of starting.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Must be over 18 as alcohol service and open scheduling availability is a requirement.
