Export Shipping Manager | Up to $7,000 + VB | Tuas | Mon–Fri
💰 Salary: Up to $7,000 Basic + $50 Transport Allowance + Variable Bonus
📍 Location: Tuas
🕘 Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5:30pm
🚐 Transport: One-way company transport for morning commute
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Export Shipping team, including staff training, performance and KPI monitoring.
Oversee daily export shipping operations and forwarding transactions.
Manage full sets of export shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, certificates and L/C documentation.
Ensure customs declarations and shipping activities comply with Singapore and international regulations.
Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, hauliers and other vendors.
Negotiate freight rates and free-time extensions with shipping lines and forwarders.
Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints and shipping-related issues.
Monitor shipping costs, vendor performance and operational reports.
Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or related field.
7–10 years of shipping/logistics experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong experience in export documentation, L/C and customs compliance.
ISO 9001 knowledge is an advantage.
