Facilities Operations Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager (Ideal candidate will need to have Columbia Security License and experience in either: facilities operations, security operations, or hospitality management experience.)

Salary: $78K, plus annual incentive, Weekly Pay, Rapid Advance Pay Program and comprehensive benefits

Are you a leader with 5-7 years of experience in facilities operations management, security operations, hospitality/tourism management, event management, or public spaces administration? Block by Block is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee one of our Cleaning and Safety Ambassador programs in downtown Columbia. This role requires advanced client relationship management skills to manage daily district program operations and deliver continual program improvements. We're looking for someone with strong managerial skills, a great work ethic, experience supervising a team of approximately 11 employees, and a passion for creating a great experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hiring and training a positive, skilled, and dependable team.
• Adjusting the deployment of resources to match changing needs.
• Identifying and solving problems to improve program quality.
• Procuring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Reporting outcomes through various channels (spreadsheets, Kronos Timekeeping, Budgets).
• Hands-on working management in the field to provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training.
