Fehrer Quality Liaison - 3rd Shift
Summary
Inspects automotive parts for defects, reworks nonconforming items, and reports quality issues to engineers and managers while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
SUMMARY:
The Quality Liaison checks parts for conformance to customer standards. When defects are found the Liaison reworks parts and report back to the plant of issues found. The Customer Quality Liaison is the face of Fehrer and is required to represent Fehrer with the highest standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check parts for conformance to customer standards
- Communicate quality issues to Quality Engineer, and Quality Manager in a timely manner
- Identify nonconforming material
- Rework nonconforming material
- Check with Customer Representatives daily pertaining to any issues or concerns they may have
- Help train proxy to fill in if he/she is absent
- Sort material line side or at Customer warehouse if needed
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify potential areas of risk and develop mitigation strategies. Understand and maintain audit compliance as it relates to the quality function. This would include: IATF, ISO, and TISAX
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by the company. Encourage safe practices and a safety-first mindset among coworkers.
