To strengthen our European team, we are looking for a dedicated Field Application Engineer (FAE) with technical expertise and a strong customer focus.

Remote Office: Home-Office is your base in combination with TE Istanbul Office

Travel: 60% in Turkey, 5 % in Europa, 35% Office Job

Working style: Independent, flexible, and closely collaborating with an international team across different TE company functions

Stellenanforderungen

• Technical Adviser & Design-In Expert: You help customers integrate our products into their system architecture – both with existing solutions and potential new developments (e.g., via Webex or on-site).
• Project Activities: You actively drive new customer projects – from identifying relevant applications to developing technical specifications to system integration (e.g., in RTS, SFDC).
• Product Presentations & Trainings: Conducting customer trainings, webinars, and product presentations, also focusing on innovative products like PCB connectors, high-speed & high power solutions, and TE Raychem brand products.
• Technical Support: Customers Contact for technical questions from. Further you support AM, Sales, Distribution, Channel, PIC and BU cross related to AD&M products.
• Sample Organization (3D) & Prototyping: Support Business with small pre-series, demos, and product-specific demonstration materials.
• Technical Standards: TE products and competitive products have their own nomenclature. Converting these into a TE part number is an important task to support the sales back office in preparing quotes.
• Responsible Regions: Your business support is mainly needed in Turkey and working at customer’s field. Exchange with colleagues within Europe is usual.

Was Sie mitbringen sollten:

• High School or similar Education / Qualification.
• Experience in technical customer consulting and/or technical sales, ideally in the aviation, defense, or high-tech industry.
• Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, especially with cables, connectors, heat shrink tubing, and system architecture.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and system designs. • Strong in communication, solution-oriented, and confident when dealing with customers.
• Fluently in Englisch – additional languages are welcome
• Craft skills (e.g., for trade show setups, product demonstrations) as well as willingness to travel to Exhibitions, Customer Tech. Days
• Confident handling of presentations, webinars, and digital tools.
