About the Job Field Brand Representative:

MarketStar is seeking Field Brand Representatives to represent a nationally recognized wireless brand across third-party retail partner locations across the country. This is a field-focused role, with most of your time spent traveling between partner stores, building strong relationships with retail teams, driving sales performance, and ensuring the brand experience is consistently executed at every location. As the face of the brand within your assigned market, you'll serve as a trusted resource for partner staff—providing training, support, and problem-solving assistance. You'll also play a key role in keeping leadership informed by delivering accurate, timely insights into store execution, customer engagement, and overall market performance.

Location: Ohio - Field Position (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and/or Toledo areas preferred.)

What Will You Do?

  • Maintain a minimum of 8 to 10 in-person store visits per week within your assigned territory, with at least 75% of your contracted hours spent in active field visitation, ensuring every assigned location is visited at least once per month.

  • Provide accurate, real-time records for leadership by completing and submitting required documentation after each store visit.

  • Audit planogram (POG) and brand presentation standards, confirming compliant status following any product launch or merchandising refresh, and documenting and remediating deficiencies promptly.

  • Conduct on-the-floor training sessions with partner associates to build product knowledge, confirm completion of required training modules, and keep teams current on promotions and new launches.

  • Establish and grow strong working relationships with store leadership to secure prime product placement and earn genuine advocacy for the brand on the sales floor.

  • Monitor territory and location-level KPIs, identify underperformance early, and work with partners on tailored plans to hit revenue and growth targets.

  • Serve as the first line of support when technical or operational obstacles come up in-store, escalating and triaging with internal support teams as needed.

  • Use a company-provided mobile app to log store visits, capture data, and document before-and-after photos of merchandising and displays.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Successful track record in field sales, merchandising, or a related role; experience in wireless, telecommunications, or consumer technology preferred.

  • Experience in account management or third-party partnerships is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

  • A valid driver's license, daily access to a reliable vehicle, active auto insurance, and eligibility to pass a motor vehicle record check.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within your assigned territory.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods while setting up and auditing displays.

  • Comfort using mobile apps and technology for daily reporting.

  • Strong communication skills and an outgoing, professional, relationship-first personality.

  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret sales data and translate it into action.
