Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of machinery and equipment, while providing operational training to customers.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, recommending suitable repair solutions, spare parts, and maintenance services to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to customer service requests, maintain strong customer relationships, and coordinate with suppliers, principals, and manufacturers on technical support, warranty claims, and equipment-related matters.
• Prepare detailed service reports, maintain accurate service records in the company's service management system, and assist in the preparation of service quotations, maintenance contracts, and technical proposals.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company procedures, participate in technical training to enhance product knowledge, and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, servicing, or troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence (own vehicle is an advantage).
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills and a willingness to take on technical challenges.
