Field Service Engineer - Additive Manufacturing (Aerosol Jet Technology)

Travel: Approximately 30% (domestic and occasional international)

We are seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our additive manufacturing systems, including aerosol jet technology. This mid-level role is ideal for a technically capable professional who enjoys working directly with customers to install, support, and troubleshoot advanced equipment while delivering a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, commission, and validate additive manufacturing systems at customer sites

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software components

· Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

· Provide timely customer support via phone, email, and on-site visits

· Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve escalated technical issues

· Document service activities, findings, and recommendations

· Train customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices

· Build and maintain strong customer relationships
