Field Service Engineer (Entry Level) $2.9K – $3.2K / Allowance $1.2K / VB (up to 3 months)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and upgrade equipment at customer fab sites
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs, calibrations and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues on advanced wafer processing systems
• Analyse system parameters and equipment behaviour to support process development
• Use specialised jigs and tooling during service assignments
• Assist Senior Engineers with higher-level tasks, including robot teaching and sub-unit servicing
• Prepare technical service reports and keep accurate maintenance records
• Take part in weekly team meetings and present your technical findings
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to meet service commitments

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Microelectronics Engineering
• No prior experience needed, as full training is provided
• Hands-on skills in machine setup, installation, modification, servicing and repair
• Cleanroom or semiconductor fab exposure is an advantage
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Clear communicator with good documentation habits and a customer-first attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Able to collaborate within a team and engage directly with customers
