Field Service Engineer

Industry: Manufacture/repair of semiconductor foundry equipment

Job Descriptions:
- On-Site Equipment Service & Maintenance

- Provide on-site technical support for semiconductor equipment at customer fabs in Singapore.

- Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities.

- Troubleshoot equipment issues and restore equipment operation in a timely manner.

Customer Technical Support & Issue Resolution

- Respond to customer technical inquiries and equipment issues promptly.

- Analyze recurring equipment issues and identify root causes and corrective actions.

- Collaborate with HQ Engineering and Customer Support teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Service Documentation & Internal Coordination

- Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance history, troubleshooting results, etc.

- Prepare service reports and communicate major equipment issues to relevant internal teams.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Parts, and Procurement teams for effective customer service

Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

- Business-level English communication skills required; Korean communication skills preferred

- Relevant experience in Field Service, Customer Support, or Equipment Engineering.

(Position 1 : Over 1 year / Position 2 : Over 5 years)

- Ability to troubleshoot Semiconductor Equipment and resolve electrical, mechanical, and HW-related issues.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer communication skills.

- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, vacuum, and equipment control systems.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills for customer and HQ coordination

- Able to work in a cleanroom environment and wear required personal protective equipment.

- Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, on-call schedules, and travel as required based on

customer needs


Other Information:
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800hrs - 1700hrs
- Working Location: Woodlands, Singapore

- Position 1 : SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,500 / Position 2 : SGD 7,000 - SGD 9,000 (Depending on Experience and Qualification) *(Position 1 : Over 1 year / Position 2 : Over 5 years)
