Field Service Technician - Cork

You would be expected to perform installation and minor repairs on all Diebold Nixdorf products and services. This includes scheduled cleanings and other basic maintenance on conventional products, as needed. This position may require the use of basic hand tools, limited parts and a general understanding of PC, PC peripherals and network connectivity. Install and provide technical maintenance for hardware and software of products and components within assigned area of responsibility mainly at customer´s premises.

We are looking for a motivated Field Service Technician to join our technical team.
Location: Remote at Customer Site - Cork
Responsibilities:
- Installing Diebold Nixdorf products and services at customer locations.
- Performing scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and preventive service activities.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Diagnosing and completing minor equipment repairs.
- Configuring and testing PCs, peripherals, and related systems.
- Replacing defective components and ensuring proper system functionality.
- Providing technical support and maintenance to customers within the assigned territory.
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
- Responding to customer service requests and resolving technical problems.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and service-level agreements.
- Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting the installation, upgrade, and optimization of banking and retail technology solutions.
Essential:
- Strong PC literacy and proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, bending, and stooping.
- Flexibility to work shifts and participate in evening and weekend on-call rotations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and maintain inventory of vehicle stock, parts, and tools.
- Strong organizational skills, professional attitude, and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet background screening and driving record requirements.

- Previous experience in a field service or mobile engineering role
