Key Responsibilities
- Perform service, repair, and assembly activities in line with standard service procedures.
- Accurately complete and document service reports, checklists, and update relevant business systems.
- Conduct visual inspections of parts following third-party inspections and report findings.
- Identify improvement opportunities and actively participate in problem-solving initiatives.
- Support and promote company Safety & Quality standards and procedures.
- Identify hazards and risks in line with company observation programs and Stop Work Authority.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process failures using Root Cause Analysis .
- Maintain good housekeeping practices within the workshop environment.
- Complete assigned training and competency development programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the team leader.
Qualifications & Experience Essential
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Awareness and understanding of workshop environments.
- Physically fit for workshop-based work.
- Knowledge of operating overhead cranes and breakout machines.
Desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in oilfield repair and maintenance shops.
- Advanced knowledge of overhead cranes and breakout machines.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role (considered an asset).
