Finance Manager (Full Sets) - RPAL

Our client is a MNC in Manufacturing. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Finance Manager to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Tuas (Company Transport Provided)

Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Handle intercompany transactions, billing, and reconciliation of balances.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
• Oversee fixed asset management, including periodic asset verification and asset tagging.
• Manage corporate tax matters and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax agents, and government authorities.
• Handle banking matters and coordinate annual audit exercises.
• Calculate and monitor foreign exchange gains and losses.
• Work closely with HQ Finance on accounting and reporting matters.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to headquarters.

Costing & Financial Planning

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting processes.
• Manage standard costing and conduct product margin analysis.
• Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive profitability and cost optimization initiatives.
• Manage Precious Metal (PM) transactions, including refining activities and PM gain/loss reporting.
• Oversee CAPEX projects from budgeting to reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, or in relevant fields
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

• Experience in manufacturing industry is Bonus
