Finance Operations Analyst - 12 Month Contract
About The Role
As a Finance Operations Analyst, you’ll help keep the money moving behind our novated leasing portfolio. You’ll manage payments and incoming funds, reconcile accounts, solve discrepancies and support month-end reporting, helping ensure every transaction is accurate, timely and compliant. It’s a hands-on role in our Finance Operations team, with the opportunity to improve how we work and support our customers and partners.
What You'll Be Doing
- Remit payments to financiers, dealers and third parties within agreed timeframes and SLAs.
- Receipt and allocate employer and employee funds to novated lease accounts.
- Reconcile novated leasing bank accounts, trust accounts and the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, unallocated funds and aged items.
- Support month-end close, including aged debt and reconciliation reporting.
- Maintain accurate records for audit, compliance and financier reporting.
- Work closely with internal teams, financiers, dealers and other partners.
- Help improve our financial processes, controls and team ways of working.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in handling high volume reconciliation such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, trust accountant or a similar transactional role.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial transactions.
- Confidence using ERP or CRM systems, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems and work well independently and with others.
- Knowledge of salary packaging or novated leasing, including relevant legislation, would be preferred but is not essential
